Does the equipment require any maintenance?

Eco-compteur equipment does not need any maintenance. The statements received allow you to check and follow the smooth running of the equipment. We would recommend testing the sensors at the same time as retrieving the statements.

Can we interchange the sensors on the same logger?

Yes, loggers are standard. This fact facilitates the movement of loggers.

How can we recuperate data ... do we need a cable?

No cable is necessary on the site. The data contained in the logger are transmitted to a pocket computer via an infrared connection or Bluetooth. Once back in the office, the data are subsequently transferred from the pocket computer to the central processing unit via a cable delivered with the equipment.
However, the most useful method is the telemetry via GSM modem: here the systems are equipped with a modem which ensures the daily automatic remote transmission of the data.

I've lost my pocket computer, are the data safeguarded somewhere?

Of course they are! The data are protected in the logger. It will provide you with a list of the last 10 statements which you can retrieve - thus you can rest assured that the data will never get lost.
The systems equipped for telemetry also provide automatic backup to a server.

If the plug should be inadvertently disconnected, what would happen?

The data contained in the memory would not be erased, on the other hand you would lose the recording of the very last incomplete hour (ie, if you disconnected at 11.45am, you would lose the data between 11.00am and 11.45am).

Is it possible to retrieve the data from ten or so loggers before transferring all said data to the office computer?

Yes. The pocket computer's memory capacity allows you to lift the data from all your various counting points before transferring them to your desktop computer.

When we decide to move the logger, how do we change its name?

When you move to a different counting point, you will need to reinitialize the logger with the pocket computer. You will give it a new name and the database will automatically return to zero for the newly created counter.

How do you put the logger's database back to zero?

This function is set when the logger is initialized.
Can we modify the sensor settings, change their degree of sensitivity for example?
The sensors are configured at the factory. Their settings are standard, but in specific environmental conditions it is possible to modify them. In this case, we would ask you to contact us so as to carry out this modification without disturbing the smooth running of the equipment.
