Since 1997, Eco-Counter has been committed to developing innovative solutions for counting pedestrians. The first pedestrian counter was invented by Jean MILON, the father of Eco-Counter's CEO, Christophe MILON. Jean developed the first pedestrian counter prototype because he wanted to measure the pedestrian use of the path he was maintaining. Eco-Counter has evolved since this first prototype, over the past 15 years we have developed a family of pedestrian counters that respond to a range of requirements defined by the needs of our clients and the counting environment. Measuring pedestrian traffic is important for planning and management in cities as well as in natural areas. That is why Eco-Counter has developed a family of counters that are designed for a range of environments. If you are looking to measure pedestrian traffic, be it on a mountain trail or a downtown sidewalk, then Eco-Counter has a solution for you.
Eco-Counter systems are designed and manufactured at our facility in France. We are able to customize our counting systems to work with any type of configuration. Contact us about your counting project, our team will work with you to develop the best counting solution adapted to your objectives and your counting sites.
