Overview

The Eco-DISPLAY Classic combines Eco-Counter’s ZELT or MULTI counting system with an elegant, real-time display. This impressive and interactive piece of street furniture encourages cycling by communicating to cyclists that they count.

Display either just cyclist counts or both pedestrian and cyclist counts. The Eco-DISPLAY Classic can be configured to show counts from either ZELT loops or a MULTI counting system installed adjacent to the display unit. Daily and cumulative year-to-date counts are displayed to engage the public.

Portland, USA

The City of Portland installed an Eco-DISPLAY Classic on the Hawthorne Bridge, which links the East Side to Downtown. Placed on this major bike route, the Eco-DISPLAY Classic is a visible sign of the City’s commitment to cycling. The Hawthorne Bridge display has counted and displayed more than 1.5 million bike trips per year since it was installed in the summer of 2012.

Long Beach, USA

Many people love to take a jog or ride their bike along the beach. Now, there are the numbers to prove it in Long Beach, California with a bicycle and pedestrian count display that was installed in September 2016. Counters register numbers of cyclists and pedestrians who use the 3.1-mile twin beach paths near the Belmont Pier.

Montreal, Canada

The city of Montreal installed an Eco-DISPLAY Classic on Laurier Avenue in January 2013. In 2011, Laurier Avenue underwent a “road diet” – a vehicle lane was removed to create space for a bike lane.
